CELTIC, Britain. Trinovantes & Catuvellauni. Dubnovellaunus, circa 30-10 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 5.36 g). Two crescents on open wreath; pellet-in ring motif to either side. Rev. DVBNOVIILLAVN Horse prancing to left; above, pellet within ring between two pellets; below, branch and pellet. ABC 2392. BMC 2442. VA 1650-1 var. An attractive piece on a nice flan with a full legend. Minor flan crack at 12 o'clock, otherwise, good very fine.
